The S. António Popular Marches, promoted by the Municipality of Tondela, will take place again on Saturday (June 13, 2026), on the Avenida Ao Tom D’ Ella. In this 2026 edition, the event, according to the municipality, will feature the participation of nine local entities. The first institution to march will be the Sporting Clube de Nandufe, which will make its debut in the initiative, followed by the Rancho Folclórico de Castelões and the Grupo Cultural Recreativo e Desportivo Mocidade Vinhalense. Then, the Casa do Benfica do Concelho de Tondela, the Rancho Folclórico “As Capuchinhas” de Santiago de Besteiros, and the Associação Folclórica e Recreativa do Tourigo will present themselves. Next, the Clube Desportivo de Tondela and the ACDR Os “Velhos Costumes de Molelos” will parade. To conclude the night, the Grupo de Teatro Amador “Os Cestos” de Nandufe, a locality that will present itself this year with two marches, will march. As is already tradition, all participating entities will have musical accompaniment from the Banda Filarmónica Tondelense. The parade will begin at 21h30. The event presentation will be in the hands of journalist António Pedro Carvalho, one of the faces of the program “Portugal em Rede” of RTP.
